Today we paused our progress and turned our attention to achievements. And we completed the last step into
Glory of the Icecrown Raider (25) wich gave us a very nice Icebound Frostbrood Vanquisher, a very nice mount rewarded
for our most hardcore players. Also, even was just a coincidence, we also finished our first Legendary Shadowmourne today, Noxxious got his 50th Shadowfrost Shard.
We want to congratulate him for his effort and for his very long raiding with our guild, without missing any raid almost, and we can say : fully deserve the very nice weapon. And is very nice
to also thanks to all other of our raiders, for the help of achieving these. Now only things left in this Wotlk expansion : kill Lich King heroic.

Heroic Icecrown 25 - 11/12 cleared. Only the greatest of them all left for now, Lich King himself
Putricide in heroic mode, is 1 of the fight where luck is not the worst factor you fight against, but rather
the concentration and coordination of every member of the raid, while you still need to keep the dps very high and the healing, about the same.

Heroic Icecrown 25 - 10 bosses down, 2 to go, only Putricide and Lich King left.
Completed until now, 9 bosses in heroic mode before the nerfs, and before the 5% dmg buff, also we killed Sindragosa 25 heroic,
with the 5% buff. We are looking to kill Putricide heroic soon, and after that use our time and our patience, to the hardest of them all,
Lich King 25 heroic. We hope Blizzard will give us either more challenges soon, before Cataclysm, either they will remove the limited attempts from ICC25 heroic.

Icecrown 25. Easy modes. Nothing much to say about them, some bosses are at least interesting'
but most of the easy modes fights are dull and lack the epicness of a serious encounter.
Still, Lich King , either in 10 or 25 man version, even easy mode, is not that easy as rest. Is a challenge and
requiere some very serious preparations of strategy. Still, we managed to kill it , second week, after 2 nights of wipes. Hard modes incoming.

Nothing about overgearing the boss. Nothing about +1 tier , lets do some achievements. This is the only achievement
were you need to let some imba shiny epix in bank, and get some old gear and try to kill the boss.
Just do it as it was initialy intended, for the 226 item level gear. There is no space for mistakes.
The hard part was to actualy aquiere almost best in slot gear without geting over the requierements. But is definetly challenging !

A different encounter. You dont heal it... or you do, but not as usual, and is a pain for healers. You dont keep raid at full hitpoint, you keep
the raid at lowest hit points possible. Hard ? somehow hard, but definetly different from what we are used to see until now.
Still, after tunning our healing and about 200 wipes in wich we fixed everything, from positioning, dps, cooldown rotations and tanking,
we managed to kill the boss. 9%, 5% and 2% wipes before the actual kill, feeled like a realy progress boss. Gratz to everybody !

After a long break from serious 10 man raiding, we decided to go back to it and finish our last 2 , Ulduar 10 achievements.
In the same long night in wich we did at least 10 - 15 easy achievements, we did also defeated Algalon, obtaining the Starcaller title,
and , after some wipes and tunning, we managed to kill Yogg-saron, without the help of any Keeper - this was prolly hardest achievement in 10 man.
Now we are awating for more results from same encounters in 25 man, Algalon defeat and Yogg-saron 0 lights.

We continued our progress and serious raiding, over the Summer, without breaks, and in next days
we managed to kill Yogg-saron with the help of 1 Keeper only, and get the achievement there and the Hard Mode loot.
Going back to raiding next week, we decided to dedicate all our week to try Freya with 3 Elders up. We used specific gear for more survability, we used
specific consumables, but after more days of wipes and tries, we managed to kill her. The result ? Unlock Algalon room and a very nice Ironbound Protodrake ! Gratz for all that got it.

We would like to congratulate Anthea, for his well deserved legendary healing mace, and say him thank you for being
thebest and most loyal healer of our guild, over the time. Also, we would like to announce that we succeeded in killing
Mimiron hard mode - Heroic Firefighter achievement, and that have been done with the participation and awesome playing of everybody in our raid. We would also say sorry
for not posting a Firefighter screenshot, but at our kill, the boss decided to enrage forever, and we barely managed to loot him. After 3 hours, he was still enraged, the room being full of fire !

After 3 Nights, a very hard Phase 1, due to "green spot" threat, a learning curve in Phase 2, with melees improving their team play
a lot, some players missing, some players disconecting when to get into and out of portals, but in the end
we managed to enter few times in Phase 3 of this boss, wich, more or less , is a killing process. Gratz for the well deserved acheivement, and loot, and for the good work.

After 1 week in wich we raided, at least 6 hours every day, with 1 day free, even if our main players were mostly in vacation,
we managed to clear first 3 parts of Ulduar and even kill General Vezax, wich gave us opportunity to try Yogg-saron, the last
boss in instance... or not, Algalon is a boss also ! And even a "raid destroyer". We are looking toward those last 2. Anyway, best encounter was, by far Mimiron, fun fun !

After few nights of wipes with proper setup , Simulacrum have done the hardest achievement at this moment
defeating Sartharion and his 3 buttfriends in normal difficulty.Grats all , well done, abit late but we will make up to
this hopefully. Plagued Proto-Drake here we come!

Sartharion is a very easy boss. You go in the instance, you clear the trash,
you kill Tenebron (loot 1 Emblem), after you kill Shadron, after you kill Vesperon, and in the end you pull",
the big boss, Sartharion, and kill him 100% sure. But what if you dont kill the 3 drakes ? Then they join the fight,
Sartharion call for their help, and even more, their abilities are used all in same time. Then the encounter become
at least challanging. But with good coordination, with good DPS and with serious raiding, we managed to kill all 3 drakes
and Sartharion in same encounter. Gratz to Bamse for his mount, gratz to all that participated to the kill.

With Wrath of the Lich King content cleared, our only good options left was to try
more achievements, some of them being easy, some being a real challange. For example, "Glory of the Hero",
wich also reward the player with a "Red Proto Drake", was accomplished by Norm with some of help, but we have to
agree that it was his motivation wich leaded us to the mount. And the last hardest step in this achievement, was,
for sure, defending Anub'arak boss in under 2 minutes, wich we managed to do after more than 100 tries in total.
Gratz to Norm, thank you to all others that helped him, and we hope for more challenging achievements acomplished !

Having the experience with Malygos 10-man raid, wich we accomplished some days before,
We went to bann this big Dragon from our world, in 25-man version of the instance.
And after learning a bit what to do with a half-bugged dragon ,
we managed to kill him... erm did i said "kill" ? Malygos cant die, we only banished him !

Wrath of the Lich King content cleared, for now. We are looking for harder instances in future.
